Susan is the Co-founder and director of Mezcalistas, and has been traveling the backroads of mezcal producing regions since 2010. She is a long time business, marketing and communications strategist in the sustainable food and beverage worlds. Over the past 15+ years, Susan’s work has focused on promoting the connection between land, farmers and food and beverage crafters through her work not only with Mezcalistas but also with the non profit organization Foodwise, the Eat Real Festival, Slow Food Nation and more. Through her work, she has developed innovative and experiential programming to engage consumers including events, tours, talks and educational materials. She was named a Drink Innovator by SevenFiftyDaily and featured in Imbibe Magazine as part of its Agave issue. She has a degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and is bilingual.

Susan es cofundadora y directora de Mezcalistas y ha recorrido los caminos rurales de las regiones productoras de mezcal desde 2010. Es una estratega de negocios, marketing y comunicaciones con una larga trayectoria en el mundo de los alimentos y bebidas sostenibles.
